Flexible Booking with Strel Swimming for 2021
We are aware of uncertain times ahead and we would like to offer more flexibility to allow you to plan your trip with us for 2021. These terms are valid for all new bookings with us starting from 15 November 2020.
We are committed that we will be fully operating trips next summer and you can book with confidence. We have done several trips in the 2020 season, check some of our recent reviews on Trustpilot or Facebook and our recent press article in the Wall Street Journal.
Book with confidence – 10-day window *
If you book and then wish to cancel your trip within 10 days of your original booking date, we will send you a refund (deposit or full).
Trip cancelled – refund
Should our trip be cancelled for any reason you will have an option to:
a) receive a full refund or,
b) transfer your full credit to a new trip departure in 2021 or 2022.
Free trip change
We offer you one free of charge change up to 45 days (75 days for Swim-Sail cruise trips) prior to your trip departure to transfer your credit to another trip in 2021 or 2022. If you cancel later on, nearer to the trip departure, we will offer you any recoverable costs available at the time of your cancellation.
On some trips we can offer a bit more flexibility nearer to the trip time, so please get in touch with us for further details.
We will make all the effort to provide you with any available and recoverable costs towards your refund or a future trip with us, but this may not be possible entirely due to the nature of our business. We pre-book services such as hotel rooms, boat rentals, guides, travel arrangements, and certain permits. Depending on the time of your cancellation we will inform you of what costs will be excluded from your refund or credit towards another trip in 2021 or 2022.
The average amount of non-recoverable costs for each trip can be requested in advance at the time of booking or later on nearer the trip.
We highly recommend that all guests have comprehensive travel insurance to cover any event, including Covid-19 related disruption. You should check with your insurance provider whether you are covered in case you need to cancel our trip and what are the conditions to support your claim.
Should you need an official letter to claim for your trip cancellation using travel insurance we are happy to provide that for you.
Other swimmers or friends
If you are in the position that you cannot join our trip for any reason, you may have other friends or family members who may want to join the trip instead of you. We are happy to make this name change on your booking free of charge.
* This (10 day window cancellation) does not apply to bookings made in the last 60 days (90 days for Swim-Sail cruise trips) prior to departures. Refund excludes any card or other bank transfer fees on top of the trip price.
