Flexible Booking with Strel Swimming for 2022
International travel has re-opened and several destinations have become available for travel. We are aware there are still possible changes ahead should specific countries introduce new entry requirements. Please see below for the flexibility we can offer you to plan your trip with us in 2022. These terms are valid for any current booking with us for the year 2022.
We are committed that we will be fully operating trips in 2022 and you can book with confidence. We have done several trips in the 2020 and 2021 seasons and you can check some of our recent reviews on Trustpilot or Facebook and our recent press article in the Wall Street Journal.
Book with confidence – 7-day window *
If you book and then wish to cancel your trip within 7 days for any reason, we will send you a refund (deposit or full). This applies to trips booked more than 60 days before the trip start date.
Trip cancelled – refund
Should we cancel your trip for any reason you will have an option to:
a) receive a full refund or,
b) transfer your full credit to a new trip departure in 2022 or 2023.
Free trip change due to travel restrictions
We offer you one free trip change to a later date should travel restrictions prohibit you from travelling to or from our trip destination. You need to inform us about this request at least 35 days (70 days for Swim-Sail cruise trips) prior to your trip departure to transfer your booking to a later date or another trip. If you cancel later on, nearer to the trip departure, we will offer you any recoverable costs available at the time of your cancellation.
We pre-book services such as hotel rooms, boat rentals, guides, travel arrangements, and certain permits. Depending on the time of your cancellation we will inform you of what costs will be excluded from your refund or future credit towards another trip.
For all other changes or cancellations, our normal terms and conditions apply.
We highly recommend that all guests have comprehensive travel insurance to cover any event, including Covid-19 related disruption and curtailment provisions. You should check with your insurance provider whether you are covered in case you need to cancel our trip before you depart, or curtail (cut short) and what are the conditions to support your claim.
Should you need an official letter to claim for your trip cancellation using travel insurance we are happy to provide that for you.
Other swimmers or friends
If you are in the position that you cannot join our trip for any reason, you may have other friends or family members who may want to join the trip instead of you. Please do get in touch.
* This (7-day window cancellation) does not apply to bookings made in the last 60 days (70 days for Swim-Sail cruise trips) prior to departures. Refund or future credit excludes any card or other bank transfer fees on top of the trip price.
* Refund option does not apply to bookings made by future credit from previously cancelled or deferred booking.
