One of our recent guests from Cardiff, Wales was inspired by our Montenegro swimming holiday and wrote a nice song about the trip experience.

Strel Montenegro Swimming Song

(to the tune of Gold! by Spandau Ballet)

Thank you for coming here

I´m sorry that it´s ending so soon

The first trip to Montengro in June

These are my swimming days

Slowly being eaten away

Just another play for today

Oh but I´m proud of you, but I´m proud of you

Nothing left to make me feel wrong

You have left me swimming so strong

Strel

Always believing in your soul

You´ve got the power of stroke

Go Montenegro!

Always breathing both ways,

Cos you are

Strel

Glad that you´re bound to return

There´s so much that we have learned

About Montenegro, always breathing

After the rush has gone

I hope you find a little more time

Remember we were partners in crime

It´s only two days ago

You first rubbed Vaseline on our necks

We´re fitter and can all feel our pecs

Now we´re leaving you,

Bonded like we were behind a prison wall

But seagulls kept us away, kept calling …´Caw´ Seagull sound)

Strel

Always believing in your soul

You´ve got the power of stroke

Go Montenegro!

Always breathing both ways,

Cos you are

Strel

Glad that you´re bound to return

There´s so much that we have learned

About Montenegro, always breathing

Bonded like we were behind a prison wall

But seagulls kept us away, kept calling … ´caw..´ (Seagull sound)

Strel

Always believing in your soul

You´ve got the power of stroke

Go Montenegro!

Always breathing both ways,

Cos you are

Strel

Glad that you´re bound to return

There´s so much that we have learned

About Montenegro, always breathing
