Croatian-Swimming-Holiday

We hope you are well and enjoying the summer temperatures. We are currently running our week-long guided swimming trips in Croatia and everyone greatly enjoys the holiday experience. This year is different from previous years as fewer people travel around, but those who come are having the best experience with us! Airlines have restarted flights and several great deals to the Mediterranean locations in Europe are now available.

This past week we have done about 30 km of sea swimming in the Adriatic around the Sibenik archipelago in Dalmatia. All days we swim twice a day covering the distances between 2-3 km per swim.  On the final day, we swim around car-free Krapanj island (3.4 km) which is as our home-base for the week. We also have kayaks and a SUP board available should you prefer to use those instead of swimming.

The list of islands where we swim on this trip:

Zlarin island
Prvic island
Tijat island
Kaprije island
Zmajan island
Obonjan island
Drvenik island
Krapanj island
Grebastica peninsula

One guest has posted a review of her experience from this trip:

“Our daughter is the ace swimmer but they accommodate her pace and our elderly one with mixed groups, full safety supervision, lunch, island stops for icecream. Great guides. Just amazing. I’ve never swim more than 1500m OW and I’ve done 3km every day. The daughter does 5-6k. Our hotel is quiet. Everyone mucks in. Kayaks are available. Just brilliant.” August 2020.
