Our legendary founder Martin Strel (Big River Man) was selected to become a new member of the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame.

IMSHOF was established in 1961 to recognise the marathon swimmers throughout the world and governed by an international selection committee of marathon swimming experts. The organisation recognises not only the world’s most successful swimmers in competitive races but also individuals for their solo swim exploits.

Martin Strel is best known for completing the longest swims in history along the entire length of the Danube River, the Mississippi River, the Yangtze River and the Amazon River.
